Good Morning, Singapore! (#54)

Photographed at Changi Village Beach on Saturday 1 October 2016 before the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk 2016 at Pulau Ubin, Singapore.

It wasn’t the most spectacular of sunrises but hey, I woke up at 3:15am just for this and had no intention of coming back empty-handed. I hadn’t realised that my shoes and socks had become completely soaked in the soft wet sand until the sun had already established a foothold across the sky.

      1. Welcome dear Dancing With Shadows… You have an amazing flair for your work…. Keep it up! 😊😄

    1. By some invisible hand, your comment ended up in my Spam. I only read this just now as I was going through my Spam! This is the first time anything like that has happened.I would say that this was a mediocre sunrise. I have seen more spectacular ones but every time the stunning ones appear, I am either in bed or in the kitchen cooking the evening meal. When I actually make it a point to catch the sunrise or sunset, Mother Nature has other plans and lets clouds get in the way!

    1. At that time of morning, most Singaporeans were still sound asleep, grateful in the knowledge that it was a Saturday and they didn’t need to drag themselves out of bed to meet their respective Electrical Lords. I forgive you. 🙂
