      1. It was not smelly at all. But while it is portrayed as a very romantic place, I can imagine it to be quite creepy at night. Even during the daytime, the alleyways are narrow and dark. There are stories of ghosts and sightings. One house in particular is haunted, with everyone staying there dying horrible deaths. It is still up for sale but no buyers!
